Each Player antes with the option of playing for a progressive jackpot and receives five cards face down. The Dealer gets five cards with one card face up. The Players examine their hands and decide to either fold, forfeiting the ante, or to make an additional bet, doubling the ante.

The Dealer can only qualify (open) and continue with an Ace/King or better. Without this minimum, the Player automatically wins the ante and that hand is over. If the Dealer opens, the Player wins if he has a higher-ranking hand than that of the Dealer. Winning hands are paid out in accordance with the payout schedule that follows.
